Marc Blanchet announced the availability of two NAT64-DNS64 open-source implementations named Ecdysis (provided by Viagénie). You can use them to extend either Bind9 or Unbound for DNS64 and Netfilter or PF (BSD) for NAT64.
During the last years the IETF behave working group did a very good and hard job, NAT64 and DNS64 will hopefully be RFCs very soon. Many other behave related RFCs and very helpful drafts have already been published. Unfortunately there does not yet seem to be much interest in the OpenSource world, neither Bind nor Netfilter have published any related plans.
That's why I find Marc's announcement so exciting! Sure, I found their OSS implementation mentioned in the Viagénie DNS64 and NAT64 slides some time ago. But right now it really seems to be ready to start playing with! I hope to find some spare time to do so pretty soon...
In the meantime: Marc, thank you for all your effort and the great work!
